Book Summary

The book hero Jason Manning, is an ex-military now a real estate agent who accidentally witnesses a murder. He is chased and his wife is killed in a purposeful accident, but his pursuers continue to hunt him down.

He is kidnapped and taken to Jakarta. He saves the life of an FBI agent, Lucy Campbell, and together they work out a way to take down the drug lord and his business.

Car chases, and back alley escapes, harborside business houses and a drug farm are encountered, resulting in the Chateau being blown up. They use a power boat to get from the island to Jakarta only to meet the bad guys again.

Jason's close friend helps and by working with the police they bring the drug lord to court. It is here they discover Lucy's boss, the Under Secretary US Senator, is a partner to the drug dealing and the one directing all operations.

Eventually, all return to the court action, the Under Secretary manipulates, makes mistakes, and is killed.

After returning to the USA, Lucy and her boss are congratulated by the President, elevated in position, but Lucy and Jason decide to marry and live in Perth.
