Understanding Discipleship

The term "discipleship" is such a misused and misunderstood concept in the Body of Christ. Too often we think of it as something that a certain group within the church is called to do. Like the evangelism ministry.

The reality is discipleship is a call that is on the life of every believer. Jesus didn't save you just to get you to heaven. God is not that lonely. You are saved to be a disciple while you are here on this earth. Your very life is discipleship.
