Synopsis

Is Sara reaching too far into the stratosphere to dream of finding "true love" with the star of the high school choir musical when she is bald and still weakened from chemotherapy? After missing a year of school in her battle with leukemia, Sara is filled with a passion to live life as fully as possible, make friends in a new school, and be "normal."

Just when she begins to give up on romance, the appearance of some curls on her head, some fancy dancing and a cheerful smile seem to turn her life around. When she is again diagnosed with leukemia the day after her first kiss, she fears that two more years of lethal chemotherapy will be the death of her love life and her ability to tour and perform with her friends ever again.

This is a true story of courage and the will to survive told by Sara in daily diary entries as it was happening.
