Retail employees are definitely not given the respect they deserve, nor do they feel as good about themselves and their profession as they should. There are many reasons for this, all of which are explored in The Customer Isnt Always Right. The author has chosen a humorous approach to offset the seriousness of the material she has gathered from years of working in a retail store. The business represented went bankrupt due in large part to the fact the customer isnt always right.
