Introduction

The gigantic ships are in orbit, waiting for humanity to finish them, make them their own, and leave the planet, which will once again do whatever it takes to stop humankind from getting a fresh start. The strongest human leaders are gone, and suddenly the greatest achievement humankind will make seems to be rotting away because of internal squabbling.

However, after decades of fighting, arguing and war, the ships Leia, Leonardo and Genesis are ready to leave. 3 million people in their hulls, in cryopods and working as if they still were on the ground. Time seems to be the greatest enemy, as people die, new ones are born, and the elusive new home remains nowhere to be found.

The Struggle for Survival

When apathy and hopelessness try to take hold of the passengers, there is an event that brings the ship straight to the origin of sustenance from the brain and stomach. The vast armada may seem invincible, but it is not. Human nature, greed and hunger for things that do not belong to her are only a small part of what causes problems.

The losses are enormous, and when there isn't really anybody to blame, well, the blame game goes from one to all. And from the darkness comes yet another surprise that could not have been anticipated.
