About Yaya
Yaya is a five year old who likes playing with her friends and her younger sister. From very early on, Yaya developed a keen interest in drawing and reading. She also likes ballet, math, and violin. She enjoys growing and eating vegetables from the garden. Yaya was born with a natural sense of humor and most vibrant spirit.
Her Talents and Interests
One evening, at bed time, she started to recite from her new book the Crab (Crybaby) Family. Since she started mastering speech, Yaya has found pleasure in making up her own words and even language. She would deliver a full speech in an unknown language, making her sound almost mystical.
The Meaning of the Book
Crab is a made-up word for crybaby. This book is not about crying and whining, but about discovering early on in one's life the many things to be happy for and the many blessings we all have.
