When Wendy Bailey, the closest thing ranch hand Nick Coleman had to a sister, is found dead, Nick is determined to catch the killer. What’s more, he’s sure he has a prime suspect: Adrienne, Wendy’s sister.

So when Adrienne arrives, claiming he’s the guilty one, Nick is furious – but reluctantly they agree to work together to catch the real murderer. But as they work closely on the case, an unlikely attraction begins to spark… and, when Adrienne is kidnapped, Nick realises he’ll not rest until the only woman he has ever loved is returned to his side.
