About the Authors

Frank Albert Waugh (1869 - 1943), was an American landscape architect whose career focused upon recreational uses of national forests, the production of a highly natural style of landscape design, and the implementation of ecological principles.

Fred Coleman Sears (1866 - 1916), was a farmer and grower, best known for his writings on Productive Orcharding.
