This volume I of the two, written in 1930, is a collection of essays dedicated to George Herbert Palmer and his expansion of thought, which has gone on from the restricted outlook of Hopkins, Porter, Bowen, and McCosh to the wide horizons of Dewey, Montague, Hocking, and Whitehead.
