About the Book

This book is based on the true story about my family, the personal memoirs of my father, a young Colombian man, his journey to the United States, the sacrifice, and the struggle in bringing his family to be with him.

How a young Hispanic family had to cope with the constant fear of persecution, and threat of deportation while dealing with the pressures of poverty, and learning the thin line between good and bad ambition.

Life as an immigrant proved to be very difficult for my father, hurling him into the dangerous life of a Colombian Drug Dealer.
