I knelt naked, alone on the shower floor, sobbing, unable to bear the weight of my own soul. Tears flowed down the drain with the shower water. I prayed, begged, pleaded for the pain to end. I watched helpless as my life slipped away from me, out of my grasp. I clung to it. I clawed at it; but it just kept slipping away. . . Life down the drain. . . No more hope. . . No more dignity. . . Shattered. . .
I stopped trying to hold on and placed all in the hands of my Heavenly Father. . . And He wrapped His cloak around me.
