Overview

Madelyn O''Neal and her two daughters suddenly up-root from their comfortable home in Lexington, Kentucky, to move back to Maddie''s roots in the North, in a small rural town in Vermont. Each are forced to face challenges on all fronts.

Ashlynd's Journey

Ashlynd, the older daughter, is enthusiastic, having long wanted to pursue the sport of curling. She lands a spot on Woodstock''s curling team, only to discover what a tough game she''s taken on.

Sami's Experience

Her younger sister Sami, a terrific singer, tries out for her new school''s glee club, and is chosen to sing a solo part in the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Sami comes face to face with bullying and prejudice at school: North and South clash when a member of the glee club becomes jealous.

Maddie's Love Life

And Maddie''s world turns upside down when a new love interest come into her life, against the likings of her daughter Ashlynd.
