Charlie’s Dream

Charlie dreamed he could soar high in the air, rest on tree branches, and sit on top of chimneys.

Better yet, he could kick his way up into the sky and look far down onto little people with horses and wagons, street cars and shops.

He could flutter-kick out of the way of bullies who called him "Shrimp" and chased him through the streets of Brooklyn.
