In writing this book the author is very mindful of the fact that he is dealing with subject matters which have been dealt with by learned men up in the centuries. He is also familiar with many writers of this Twentieth century who have grappled with the problems of human relationship. Further, he has personal acquaintance with men of this current decade who are sincerely endeavoring to promote a better understanding of man''s role in society.

Purpose of the Book

This book is not written as a critique of all such writings. Nor is it written in vein of criticism. It is an attempt by one person to extract the best from all that he has read, project his own thoughts, and apply such composite yardstick to considering mankind''s problems of the present.
