Synopsis

Following a chance encounter in London, 28-year-old Nina, disappointed and adrift in life, holidays with her aunt in Florence. Here, the unexpected meeting in London ties her to a long-hidden secret. In Italy, she meets and falls in love with the older, enigmatic Arthur. The history of his family business and its involvement in the wartime Italian underground weaves a thread into her modern world, bringing with it a new life across two countries. Now she finds herself having to explain the past to help the one person who needs to understand.
