Synopsis

Hansel and Gretel are missing; a young woman is found floating in an abandoned creek, and the police are harboring dark secrets. Detective Nathaniel Spade returns to solve his most chilling caper yet—the abduction of Hansel and Gretel and the drowning of a young woman named Clementine. Haunted by the loss of his one true love, Spade must suppress his emotions and maintain his focus as he works alongside his partner, Virgil, to crack each case before it's too late.

In his search for the elusive culprit behind Fabel's most recent crimes, Detective Spade finds himself face-to-face with a series of bizarre dangers and savage enemies. To meet with success, he must combine his detective savvy with the aid of an unlikely ally in order to unravel an unprecedented mystery, the likes of which will prove one simple truth: when it comes to crime, everyone is a suspect, no one can be trusted, and nothing is as it seems.
