My Journey with Cancer

This is a true narrative about my own life living with cancer. I am the main character and the content is based on my treatments and the challenges I am confronted with while also touching on my will and determination to live.

The story discusses the concept that those in the community and in hospital talk about cancer as though it is automatically related to dying. It also expresses the dislike I feel when being spoken to like I’m in God’s waiting room.

The story centres around my diagnosis of Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2017 and my refusal to just give up and die.
