Story Overview

The Königsberg monastery suffers under the repressive measures of the ruling king. After a series of monastery fires, the abbot realizes that only recourse to an ancient right can preserve the monastery.

The Mission

In order to demand this in the imperial city, the monastery student Laurin and his dreamy, ingenious teacher Pipin, who is always good for a surprise, are sent on a secret mission.
