Bright Stripes on Friday, a children's picture book by author Mary Bonacker and illustrator L. Michelle Law, is a perfect recipe for making learning fun. In this first collaborative effort, they use the magnificent imagination of a little girl to combine color, pattern and design with a subliminal spoonful of phonetics as the days of the week are delightfully served up on an entertaining tray.
