Introduction

The same way my physical body needs to breathe to live, so also my spiritual being needs to breathe to live. Of course the Word of God feeds the spiritual being, but what gives it life? Feeding a dead spirit produces no result; it has to be alive for the effects of the feeding to be seen. The Breath of the Spirit unveils what gives the spirit life— what keeps it breathing. A living and breathing spirit results in a triumphant Christian life.
