Introduction

Every one has a way of expressing themselves; everyone has a way of letting out their emotions. For some it may be singing, dancing, working, talking, crying, running, drawing, etc., but for me I write. I've loved writing ever since I can remember, but it wasn't until recently I picked up poetry. This is a book of a collection of poems that I wrote. I wrote them to explain something to someone, let out my feelings, pass the time, and just because I love to write. Every single poem in this book expresses a thought or emotion. Whether it be a shallow or deep, it can be expressed, and that is what I tried to accomplish. Most of these poems are similes, and they aren't to be taken literal. If you like to read deeply expressed emotions, then this book is for you.
