Part 1 is the first part of a multi-part series that starts with a woman's strange last request: Don't Save Me. It follows the story of Adam Davis, her vampire husband, as he begins this 25-year journey to his son, from the steaming war-torn jungles of the last years of the Vietnam War to the exclusive high-rise hotels of the Ginza District of Tokyo.

Blood is Thicker Part 1 takes you on a bloody, whirlwind ride as Adam Davis acquires and is taught how to use his powers, from his vampire mentor; Dr. George Stein. In a race to get home to help his wife and newborn infant son, he discovers his powers and his responsibilities as a vampire.
