When the sea is turbulent and stormy, you can see neither your surroundings nor the inside of yourself; similarly, how clear can what you see really be? When I stepped into Deniz's story, everything seemed as if it were in a storm, and I didn't realize that I was also stepping into my own world. I first looked in the mirror. Did the person I saw resemble the person I wanted to be? Then I went back to Deniz. Every sentence brought me closer to him; I walked with him, fell, cried, and laughed. Then Oylum entered both of our lives. While coaching Deniz, she was actually coaching me as well. The ethical stance, management style, and details of the coaching process that I had heard of but never experienced before deeply affected me. With this perspective, turning back to myself step by step became an experience I had never had before. I created my own Colorful Values Circle, and like Deniz, I painted my own Top and Life Circle. I sought myself on every page and got to know myself better. When it was time to find my scent, I turned back to myself even more. I talked, I listened, I was silent. And finally, the storm began to calm. Everything became clearer, and the scents became more vibrant. My scent, it turned out, was Jasmine flower.
