Summary

Mickey McGuire, alongside his cousin Richard, are on a trek through a Louisiana bayou when they stumble across the body of a murdered Black man. The event pursues Mike into his adult life working as an executive recruiter, when he is hired to search for the replacement of the Insurance Commissioner of Louisiana. His role as a recruiter leads Mike to discover a diabolical scam that might just connect to the body he found in the bayou 30 years ago.
