Justin Callahan and His Grandfather

Justin Callahan has one day a week that he gets to have his grandfather all to himself. They both love baseball and Lydias Donut Stop. Justin also loves listening to Grampops stories about the Brooklyn Dodgers and two of its famous star players, Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese.

Then, in third grade, a new, shy boy is placed in Justins class. No one in the third grade pays much attention to the new boy.
