The poems originally published under the title Barrack-Room Ballads include some of Kipling's most famous efforts, such as "Danny Deever," "Fuzzy-Wuzzy," "Gunga Din," and "Tommy."  These martial songs and poems are still sound a deep connection with British imperialism.
