Overview

This short ebook comprises a directory of some of the most interesting and significant producers of Austrian wine, across two of its major regions. The first, Lower Austria is the white wine heartland of Austria, with some world-class wines made from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. In contrast, the more southerly Burgenland produces far more red wine and is also home to some outstanding sweet wines.

Content Structure

Each section of the book covers one wine region and details its dominant grape varieties and wine styles before providing producer profiles. These explain each producer’s winemaking approach as well as giving tasting notes on a selection of the wines.
