Austria celebrates Christmas in a traditional way with many unique customs. Austria is in central Europe and has a mountainous landscape with lots of snow. This means that Austria has a very traditional Christmas atmosphere.

Austria naturally has delicious food: cookies, desserts, cakes, and numerous meat, fish, and vegetable dishes based on Austrian and regional cuisine.
