Nicola has begun work at the museum Atticus House and is finding it different to any other place she''s worked at, to say the least. If her knowledge of antiques is limited, she does know something about business and she sees that the place has potential which, as an entrepreneur with ambition, is exactly what she wants. There''s a complication though, because Nicola also sees the potential when she meets her new colleague, the impressive but distant museum director Nord. And Nord is completely immersed in art and antiques, while she herself is decidedly not. Undeterred, she begins to sketch out some plans, both business and personal, and happily her friend Nige is on hand to discuss it all. But it doesn''t take long before Nicola finds that she might not be the only one interested in the potential of Atticus House, and she certainly isn''t the only one interested in Nord.
