Setting and Background

Set in Warri, a region filled with wealthy multi-national oil corporations amidst tremendous poverty and soil pollution.

Main Characters and Conflict

Local activist, Apori, is at crisis point in his marriage and is torn between making a drastic change for his people, at the expense of his wife Uwa. He is forced to decide where his priorities lie when American tabloid journalist, Karen Washington, arrives in town.

Eric is the idealistic British reporter shuttling between the UK and Nigeria, covering the latest local news in the area and interviewing leading political figures.
