Introduction

Imaginary friends are a part of every child''s life, or at least, they should be. I had two that occupied many hours of play and continually baffled my parents with their location and what they looked like. This is the story of my granddaughter and her fascination with unicorns.

Significance of Imaginary Friends

It has also occupied many hours of play for her, it has appeared at birthday parties in the form of a cake, clothes she wears and bed sheets she sleeps on. My hope is that all children find their imaginary friend and cling to them in times of worry and happiness.

Final Thoughts

When they grow up and no longer need their friend, remember them with love and keep them alive forever.
