About the Book

An Angel for Handsome is about how, for seventeen years, my cat Handsome always made my heart smile. If I went for a walk, he was by my side. He seemed to love life. And, in the book, he loved the outdoors, all the animals, and his friends.

He walks the farm, making sure all the animals were safe, and was excited that his friends were coming. The angel represents my son, who I lost too early. Animals see things humans don't. So he's able to see my son and talks to him. The angel helps Handsome stay safe and lets him know that he is never alone. Also, an angel can take many shapes to blend in when others are around.

Sadly, I lost Handsome in September 2015.
