Introduction

Setting and Conflict

The teenage daughter of an ivy league college professor was pregnant. Rejected by her family, separated from the young man she was in love with, Dixie saw no way out. With unsurmountable pressure she found herself facing a terrible choice: abort the child and go on as though nothing had ever happened, or have the baby, separated from her family and alone.
