About the Author

Born on a ranch in the Central Valley of California, the author considers this fact a cosmic error, feeling he should have been born at Versailles rather than at Sutters Fort.

Subsequent to university, he has lived in France, Holland, the Congo Republic, Austria, Boston, New York, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

These stories reflect and recollect some of these places through his myopic vision and specific experiences.
