The book is a part of a ten book series The Adventurous Pigs, a family of piglets that ran away from Farmer Johnson's farm, with hope of leading a better life.

Up to this point, they have enjoyed and made a positive change. They have named their town, and one of the brothers is Mayor. In this book, the celebration has begun with a big parade.

Farmer Johnson discovers Freedom Town while watching television to enjoy the parade. What will he do next? He hasn't decided. Meanwhile, the piglets that ran away have started a new life and are enjoying it fully.
