The Administrative Challenges of (Play) Therapy brings together essays by eight therapists who tell the stories of their career paths in the fields of social work and psychology, specializing in children and family therapy.

Each author comments on issues such as professional expenses, referrals, case load, the “Play Room”, and administrative responsibilities. They provide insight into their work as clinicians and administrators in private practice, in-home, agency, and educational settings.
