Writer and poet Laura E. Richards

has a vast work - she has written more than 90 books throughout her life, most of them children''s tales with deep messages. His parents were abolitionists and this influenced the life and work of Richards deeply; in 1917 she won a Pulitzer for the biography of her mother, the author of The Battle Hymn of the Republic.
