Study Structure

The study has been divided into eight chapters. The first part introduces the studies with a historical evolution of agrarian and its effects on agrarian structure. The second part studies the various components of the New Agricultural Technology. The third part deals with technological changes in agriculture in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The fourth part presents the methodology adopted for this study and the major hypotheses which have guided the study. The fifth part deals with technological changes in the sample area. The sixth and seventh parts are concerned with the analysis, the impact of technological changes on agricultural output and productivity, and studies the impact of new farm technology on farm incomes, farm and non-farm assets, and employment. The eighth part is devoted to summary, conclusions, and policy implications.
