The Psychology of Religion

is alive and well (as it has been for almost three-quarters of a century since religion came off the psychological taboo list in the 1950s). And much has been written and researched about the field during this passage of time. Among those playing an active part has been H. Newton Malony. As a clinical psychologist as well as an ordained clergy-person, he has brought the informed perspective of both Christian theology and the social/behavioral science to the psychology of religion. This volume is a compilation of some of his reflections as he taught graduate students, supervised research, and engaged in psychotherapy in the years leading up to his retirement in 1996.
