Carrot-Walnut Pie uses forest and woodland animals to teach children the value of morals, manners and fair play. Jeffreys first adventure finds him face-to-face with the local bully. Out of fear he strays from his sense of right and wrong. However, a little friend gives him the chance not only to right his wrong, but also to teach the bully that respect is earned and pie tastes better when eaten in the company of friends.
